Wolverhampton City Sports Advisory Council's Awards of Merit and Memorial trophies presentation evening will highlight the efforts of athletes, coaches, officials and administrators.
Wolverhampton City Sports Advisory Council Chairman Peter Holmes MBE said "The Awards of Merit recognise outstanding contributions to those sports represented on the Wolverhampton City Sports Advisory Council, and we're looking forward to hearing some very inspiring stories from the city's sporting community."
Wolverhampton Mayor Councillor Milkinder Jaspal will be on hand to present a total of 14 awards at the event in the Mayor's Parlour on Tuesday (19 November, 2013). In addition to the Awards of Merit, the H E Lane OBE and RV Cook Memorial Trophies will be presented in recognition of two outstanding contributions.
