The first Wolverhampton Visitor Week is a great opportunity for people to discover what the city has to offer.
It begins with the Junction Festival, the annual 3 day festival of art and music from Friday to Sunday (3 to 5 July) which showcases local talent at venues in and around the Chapel Ash area of Wolverhampton.

- craftplay, creative play for children aged up to 7
- free opportunity for children to try out a range of activities at WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams (2pm to 4pm) and WV Active Aldersley (10am to 3pm) leisure centres

Wednesday 8 July
- musical celebration performed by local school children, Queen Square, 11.30am to 12.30pm

- Cosplay, Pop Art in Space themed event for 14 to 25 year olds at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, 6pm to 9pm
Saturday 11 July
- City of Wolverhampton Show, Wolverhampton Racecourse, 11am to 6pm, including the country music festival Wolvestock, monster trucks and motorcycle display teams, fun fairs and contemporary circus shows by NofitState
- Scifest Coin Creator - families are invited to have a go at making their own money at Wolverhampton Art Gallery
Sunday 12 July
- City of Wolverhampton Show, Wolverhampton Racecourse, 11am to 6pm
Nicholas Pitt, Centre Director at DTZ/Mander Centre and a member of Wolverhampton Economic Growth Board, said: "Visitor Week showcases what a great city Wolverhampton is for everybody who lives here, work here and visit.
"The Visitor Week programme demonstrates just how much is on offer. Everybody is working hard together to create an improved visitor experience and I'd encourage people to let us know their views by taking part in a short survey available at venues and online."
Visitor Week is part of the City Conference Season, which is helping to improve opportunities, prosperity and health for residents, support businesses to grow and develop and help local people compete for jobs.
