The Wolverhampton Orpheus Male Voice Choir will be in fine voice at the city's annual Civic Carol Service next week.

The traditional service, which is open to all, takes place at Darlington Street Methodist Church on Wednesday 9 December, 2015, from 3.30pm and will be led by the Reverend David Lavender. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.

Wolverhampton Mayor Councillor Ian Brookfield said: "We're looking forward to a fantastic afternoon of song in the company of the Wolverhampton Orpheus Male Voice Choir. This superb annual event is sure to get everyone into the festive spirit."

The Wolverhampton Orpheus Male Voice Choir was founded in 1943, and considers itself an ambassador for Wolverhampton, wearing the city's crest with pride.
