Blakenhall Community and Healthy Living Centre will be celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema when it plays host to a series of events organised by Jai Jashn Dance this weekend.
"Filmi Talkies" will highlight the different elements which make Indian cinema unique, and includes a full programme of demonstrations including Bollywood dance, singing and music. There will also be a fashion show, henna, balloon modelling and face painting.
The event takes place on Sunday (8 September, 2013) from 11am to 3pm. All are welcome, and entry is free.
