Fantastic felines will be strutting their stuff at Aldersley Leisure Village this weekend.

The Midlands Counties Cat Club is holding its annual Championship Show at Aldersley on Sunday (6 April, 2014), with a host of cute kittens, magnificent mousers and terrific tabbies competing for prizes.

The show is being hosted by Midlands Counties Cat Club, Short Haired Cat Society, Asian Group Cat Society, Cornish Rex Society, Korat & Thai Cat Association, LaPerm Cat Club, Singapura Cat Club and Snowshoe Cat Society.

Councillor Elias Mattu, Wolverhampton City Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure and Communities, said: "The Midlands Counties Cat Club has held this feline equivalent of Crufts at Aldersley for the last few years and attracts hundreds of animal lovers every time.

"The event is open to the public so I'd encourage people to come along and see a feast of fabulous felines."

Which cats will get the cream? Find out at Aldersley Leisure Village on Sunday between 12.30pm and 4.30pm. Admission to the show is £2 for adults, £1 for children.

Please note that to enable to show to take place, activities in Aldersley Leisure Village's main hall will be suspended on Sunday. The rest of the centre will be open as normal.
