Carers in Wolverhampton can enjoy a range of free activities to help improve their health and wellbeing at a special event later this week.

The Healthy Mind, Healthy Body day is being organised by the City of Wolverhampton Council's Carer Support Team and takes place at the Bob Jones Community Hub on Thursday (11 May).

Carers can take part in a range of activities, including tai chi, badminton, table tennis and salsa dancing, while there will also be health checks, falls prevention workshops, fitness taster sessions and circuit training.

They will also be able to find out more about the help and advice which is available to them through the Carer Support Team and other agencies in Wolverhampton.

Healthy Mind, Healthy Body takes place at the Bob Jones Community Hub, Bromley Street, Blakenhall, on Thursday (11 May) from 10.30am until 8.30pm.
