WV Active Aldersley, located off Aldersley Road, has opened a brand new indoor cycling studio.

The studio is fully air conditioned and kitted out with 24 state of the art Les Mills exercise bikes. It also has a brand new sound and lighting system. It replaces the previous cycle studio which was much smaller and had no air conditioning.

The new studio provides the perfect home for the regular group cycle classes held at the centre. These lively classes provide a cardio and strength workout led by a motivating instructor and accompanying music.

WV Active is the council's leisure brand and incorporates 3 centres - at Aldersley, Bilston-Bert Williams and Central.

Councillor Steve Evans, cabinet member for city environment, said: "WV Active is all about providing the best facilities and superb value.

"Our group cycle classes are extremely popular and this new studio will mean even more people can enjoy them. It will also provide a pleasant environment with more space, air conditioning and a great music and lighting system to really make the classes fun and motivating.

"Christmas is just around the corner and this could be just the thing to help you get fit and shed a few pounds in time for the party season."
