Developers at Wolverhampton Business Week this morning got first sight of what the City of Wolverhampton Council's ambitious regeneration plans for Westside could look like.

The 'Developers Conference - Investing in the City', at Molineux Football Stadium, focused on some of the key partners who are helping deliver new developments to regenerate the city.

Westside represents one of the most significant regeneration opportunities within the city centre and will deliver major mixed use development in close proximity to the core retail centre.

The site will officially go to market later next month, as the council seek to secure a development partner to deliver the scheme.

The artist's impressions give a flavour of how Westside might look once finished.

Councillor John Reynolds, Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "This is another significant step towards the transformation of our city centre.

"We look forward to seeing what proposals are put forward by developers following our extensive marketing later next month."
