Members of the city's businesses community are being urged to act fast if they want to book their place at Wolverhampton's annual Business Breakfast.

There are limited places remaining for what is the city's Business Week flagship event on Thursday 27 September from 8am to 10.30am.

The venue is GTG Training and Conference Centre, Bearing Drive, Wolverhampton WV11 3SZ, and this year the breakfast will again be hosted by one of TV's shining lights - broadcaster and journalist Steph McGovern.

It is a unique opportunity for businesses, investors, developers and representative bodies to hear from her, Managing Director of Wolves FC, Laurie Dalrymple, and City of Wolverhampton Council's new Managing Director, Tim Johnson, on the benefits of foreign investment for the city and how the City of Wolverhampton is becoming the City of Opportunity.

Guests will also find out more about a new initiative to support small businesses in the city.

Chair of Wolverhampton's Economic Growth Board, and Director at Liberty Engineering, John Wood, said: "The city's Business Breakfast is a great opportunity for businesses to come together, hear about the achievements the city has made, find out what's happening next and to meet and talk to other businesses.

The breakfast is just one of a series of free events taking place this month and next in the City of Wolverhampton to support businesses of all types and sizes to start, grow and succeed.
