You need to submit a replacement application online. You must include your Private Hire plate number so we can identify it is a replacement.
The applicant must be the same individual on the old and new vehicle applications.
We will fast-track your application for free if there are 6 calendar months or more remaining on the current vehicle. Please call Customer Services on 01902 551155 once you have submitted your replacement application to confirm your eligibility for a free fast-track. We will start to process the online application within 2 working days once the confirmation has been received.
Please note any fees from your previous vehicle licence are non-refundable. You will be required to return your current vehicle licence internal and external plates when attending your appointment.
You must submit the following within 10 working days of the application:
- an MOT certificate
- log book or new keeper slip
- a valid insurance certificate for the new vehicle
You must pay the licence fee online. Please see charges as per the age of the vehicle, below:
- Under 10 years old - £125
- 10 – 12 years – 6 month licence £125
