The below audio-recording systems and installers are approved as compliant with City of Wolverhampton Council’s Taxi CCTV Policy on audio recording.
Vehicles licensed by the council may instal these systems. Certificate of installation must be provided to vehicle.lic@wolverhampton.gov.uk for our records.
- ACS Installs
- Councils – CabCam
- Safe Systems CCTV system, installed by Safe Systems CCTV Ltd. Or their national installation teams.
- Vacron CCTV.
If you would like to become an approved installer or like your audio-recording CCTV product to become approved, please email details to vehicle.lic@wolverhampton.gov.uk. Systems without audio-recording do not require individual approval, but must still comply with the Taxi CCTV Policy. Dashcams must not record passengers in the vehicle.
