Following a recent Satisfaction Survey carried out with customers currently receiving Meals on Wheels (MoW) from the City of Wolverhampton Council, we are delighted with the overwhelmingly positive responses that were received.

Over 100 replies were received and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive!

  • 97% of users rated the service as good or excellent.
  • Compliments were paid to the “friendly”, “helpful” and “cheerful” drivers, who deliver meals in all weathers.
  • 90% of respondents were satisfied with the variety of meals on the menu (increase of 13% since 2017)
  • 94% of respondents indicated it was easy to get an answer to their question when they got in touch with us (increase of 4% since 2017)

In a question new to the survey this year, 100% of customers replied that receiving Meals on Wheels helped them to live independently in their own home.

Whilst the service was praised for being “brilliant as it is”, suggestions and comments have been taken on board for consideration and further development.

The team are delighted that their efforts continue to make such a valuable contribution to the quality of people's lives and are looking forward to keeping up the good work in the year ahead.
