As part of its climate change consultation, the council will be holding a mini citizens’ assembly in February.

The assembly will be made up of a select group of Wolverhampton citizens, chosen on the basis that they will represent the broad and diverse range of people and views in the city.

During the engagement, they will spend time providing their views on climate change, listening to experts on the topic, debating the steps currently being taken to reduce emissions and increase sustainability in Wolverhampton and helping to develop future actions the council could propose.

The council have commissioned an independent agency, BritainThinks, to recruit and organise the mini citizens assembly. If you wish to be involved in the assembly then please contact Michael Allard by e-mailing
