If you are struggling to pay your Council Tax, you can use online forms to set up a Payment Arrangement.

About Payment Arrangements

By proposing new payment arrangements, We may be able to recalculate or extend instalments. We will do our best to work with you where possible.

If you choose to do nothing, then further action will be taken which may mean you may have to pay extra costs.

Paying your Council Tax

Direct Debit is the best way to pay your Council Tax. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit, you will have the option of paying on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of the month.

If you pay in another way to direct debit, you will need to select the date of your first payment. We will confirm your instalments in writing by second-class post. It could take a few days for you to be told how much to pay. So, do not select a first payment date within the next 14 days. This will allow enough time for notification of the first payment to arrive.

Once we have issued you the bill, you will also be able to access your instalments via our online billing service.
