Improving Your Civic Centre Car Park

The Civic Centre car park will close for vital repairs and maintenance from 14th March 2016 and will reopen in early autumn 2016.

The car park is nearly 40 years old and this essential work will give it a new lease of life to coincide with Wolverhampton's ambitious regeneration plans.

There is never an ideal time to shut a major city centre car park, however the work has been planned to coincide with the least busy time of year for the car park and the £10.4 million refurbishment of the neighbouring Civic and Wulfrun Halls.

Whilst the bulk of the project involves behind the scenes structural and engineering work, our ambition is to create a much better customer experience with a lighter, brighter environment and improved layout.

There are number of alternative car parks which you might want to consider. The nearest council-owned car parks are Fold Street and Broad Street, but the map below shows lots of alternative options as well.

We will be posting regular updates on the work on the council's social media accounts.
