If you are a landlord, you can help your tenant apply for a safeguarding arrangement.
Your tenant will need to complete a safeguarding application form explaining why they think their Local Housing Allowance should be paid directly to their landlord. We will need to see supporting evidence, as listed on the application form available in the downloads section.
Please note: If your tenant receives housing costs through Universal Credit, requests for direct payment to a landlord must be made through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and not through the Housing Benefit safeguarding process.
