Tackling obesity in Wolverhampton

Find out how Wolverhampton is tackling obesity with our miles completed and pounds shed totaliser.

We cant wait

In 2014, the previous Director of Public Health, Ros Jervis and Councillor Samuels launched their 'call to action' to tackle obesity in Wolverhampton. They have challenged everyone in Wolverhampton to cover 1 million miles and shed 1 million pounds collectively, for the city.

We are asking you to add every mile you cover - walking, running, biking, swimming - to the totaliser, and to log every pound you shed here too.

Submit your contribution

Simply submit the number of miles or pounds you have achieved and help Wolverhampton meet its goal of a million miles and million pounds!  Well done to all those who took part in the Carvers Marathon on 3rd September 2017 who collectively walked, ran or cycled 19,923 miles!

If you have a large contribution send your total to webmaster@wolverhampton.gov.uk and you might get a mention next month.
