Rights of Way Improvement Plan
Wolverhampton City Council has set out its vision for managing the rights of way network for the next 10 Years with the production of a Rights of Way Improvement Plan (RoWIP).
The RoWIP has been drawn up in accordance with the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
In preparing this Rights of Way Improvement Plan, we have consulted widely with residents, user groups and other stakeholders, both externally and internally.
Following an initial consultation exercise, a draft version of the plan was published and further comments were invited. This final version incorporates many of the comments received.
The action plan forms a key component of the RoWIP and sets out how the Coincil intends to improve the city's rights of way network over the 10-year life of the Plan.
However, it is only a starting point - the action plan will be kept under continuous review and will develop and change as time goes on, work is completed and new priorities come to the fore.
