Advice for pedestrians when around cyclists
- If there is no pavement, walk on the right-hand side of the road, facing oncoming traffic
- Make sure you are visible: wear light, preferably reflective clothing. On unlit paths or roads carry a torch
- Be aware of children learning to cycle who may swerve unexpectedly
