Just click a start and end point, or search for locations/postcodes and then click ‘Plan journey’ – it’s that simple!

Wolverhampton Bike Map

Wolverhampton is a great City for cyclists; nowhere is too far; steep hills are rare and there are few fast roads to bar your way.

There are many interesting and attractive places within a ten mile radius of the City that can be reached easily by bike.

The road network on the new Wolverhampton map is graded according to the degree of skill and experience needed to cycle each route.

Using the Bike Map

The road network on the new Wolverhampton map is graded according to the degree of skill and experience needed to cycle each route.

If you are a beginner or haven’t cycled for some time, build up your confidence and basic skills on the roads where traffic is lighter and speeds are low.

As your cycling skills develop, you will discover that you can cope with more difficult cycling conditions with increasing confidence.

The best way to keep yourself safe, as well as making cycling more enjoyable, is to learn how to share the roads with other traffic. This is not as difficult as it might at first seem.

Cycle training

Cycling training is available from Wolverhampton City Council for adults and teenagers as well as younger children.
