The Highways Agency together with Jacobs Babtie have published a final report about the ways in which they will manage routes of regional importance in the Wolverhampton area.

The report includes the A449 Stafford Road between M54 junction 2 and A5 at Gailey Island.

Details can be found in the Highways Agency's Route Management Strategy Report.

Works now completed include the installation of traffic signals at both the A449/ Four Ashes and A449 / Old Stafford Road (the Harrows) junctions in Summer 2006.
