Key Stage 4 road safety resources

The Road Safety Unit can offer a variety of educational resources to help young people and learner drivers/riders develop and improve their hazard perception and risk awareness.

The following Key Stage 4 workshops are available to schools to help educate and develop attitudes of young people who are thinking about getting a license.

Crash Investigation Project

This workshop aims to highlight and stimulate debate upon road traffic accidents. Students take on the role of crash investigation officers, and discuss topics such as inexperienced drivers, drink/drug driving, speeding, and the non wearing of seatbelts. This workshop is available free to all secondary schools across the city of Wolverhampton.

Driving the Buzz

This workshop focuses upon drink/drug driving. Students not only focus upon the dangers of such an activity but are also encouraged to look at the personal, social, and legal consequences of driving whilst under the influence of drink/drugs. This workshop is available free to all secondary schools across the city of Wolverhampton.
