Traffic CCTV surveillance

Wolverhampton's traffic closed circuit television system comprises 45 traffic surveillance cameras located at strategic points around the city's road network.

The traffic cameras are used to monitor traffic flows and incidents on the highways. They also help staff in the Urban Traffic Controll Centre manage traffic flows, relay travel news and pass on valuable information to the emergency services during incidents. Images recorded in partnership with West Midlands Police.

For enquiries and further information about traffic CCTV serveillance, visit the traffic managemnt contacts page.
