Contacts - Report a problem with a street light

When reporting a problem, failure or damage to street lighting or an illuminated sign, the more information you can give us the better. For example, let us know if the:

  • light is out altogether
  • light is going on or off
  • light is burning all day or intermittent
  • light is switching on; on and off; too early or late
  • post or pole is damaged.

If possible, include the number of the column. If you cannot see this then please state the exact location, adjacent house number or property.

If the metal plate at the bottom of the lamp post has been removed or wires are exposed, do not attempt to interfere or try to make it safe yourself. In cases such as this, contact us immediately.
