City of Wolverhampton Youth Council is a non-political organisation made up of local young people between 11 and 18 (and up to 25 for those with a disability). They represent young people’s views and work to improve the lives of young people in the city.
A £100,000 fund has been set up as part of the Wolves at Work 18-24 Youth Employment Programme in response to high levels of youth unemployment in the City.
If you are under 18 years-old you will not have to pay council tax and will not be counted as an adult when working out the council tax for your household.

The Inclusion Team has been developed to support pupils who are at risk of exclusion and working with schools to build capacity and promote inclusive practice, as well as continuing to fulfil the council’s statutory role regarding exclusion from school.
