School Admissions Applications

Allocated schools for Reception Year, starting September 2018, can be found from 16th April 2018 and for Year 7 from 1st March 2018.

Primary Education

From 16th April 2018, Wolverhampton residents can find out the allocated school for Reception Year in September 2018

If you applied online to commence primary education in September 2018 the web portal is available from 16 April 2018 in order to view the allocation made.

The portal can be accessed here and you will also receive an email confirming the allocation.

The deadline for applying for a Reception Year place for September 2018 was 15 January 2018.  Allocation Day is 16 April 2018.

Therefore, if you have still not applied please complete the  late submission form or contact the Admissions and Appeals Team on 01902 551122 or email via school.admissions@wolverhampton.gov.uk

Before making your application please ensure that you have read and understood the Introducing Primary Education in Wolverhampton Booklet, which contains important information about making your school place application.

You are allowed to express a preference for five schools. Due to the popularity of Wolverhampton schools, you are encouraged to use all five preferences.

The City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet have approved the expansion of Loxdale Primary School, Spring Vale Primary School and Stowlawn Primary School. Reception admission limits for each of these schools will be increased from 30 places to 60 from September 2018.

In addition to the application, if you are applying to a Wolverhampton Voluntary Aided / Academy / Voluntary Controlled / Manor Multi Academy trust (comprising of Manor Primary, East park Primary and Hill Avenue Primary) / Nishkam / The Royal School, Wolverhampton you are required to complete an additional Supplementary Information Form:

If you want to apply for any of the Voluntary Controlled/ Manor Multi Academy Trust Schools please print off the Supplementary Information Form, complete it and return it to the Admissions and Appeals section at the Civic Centre. Please note that you must also express a preference for the school on your application.

If you want to apply for any of the Voluntary Controlled / Academy, Nishkam or The Royal School,please print off the Supplementary Information Form, complete it and return it directly to the school. Please note that you must also express a preference for the school on your application.

Secondary Education

From 1st March 2018, Wolverhampton residents can find out the allocated school for Year 7 in September 2018

If you applied online to commence secondary education in September 2018 the web portal is available from 1 March 2018 in order to view the allocation made.

The portal can be accessed here and you will also receive an email confirming the allocation.

The deadline for applying for a Year 7 place for September 2018 was 31 October 2017. Therefore, if you have still not applied please complete the  CAF1 LATE FORM [72kb] or contact the Admissions and Appeals Team on 01902 551122 or email via school.admissions@wolverhampton.gov.uk

In addition to the late application form, if you are applying to the following school's you are required to complete an additional Supplementary Information Form. The form should be completed and returned direct to the school.
