Prostitution Task Group - Fighting the trade together

The Prostitution Task Group is a sub-group of the Safer Wolverhampton Partnership. It was established with the ambition to rid Wolverhampton of the street sex trade by the end of 2006.

The group comprises:

Aims of the Prostitution Task Group

The task group aims to kill the street sex trade in Wolverhampton by the end of 2006 with an action plan that:

  • Improves intelligence gathering on the trade
  • Supports sex workers out of the trade
  • Cleans up and regenerates the environment
  • Kills demand for the trade from kerb-crawlers.
