Wolverhampton LA currently employs four Inclusion Officers who work across all primary and secondary schools in the city with pupils who are at risk of exclusion. This may be due to challenging and persistent disruptive behaviour or a significant one-off incident.

The Inclusion Team receive referrals directly from schools. This is a universal offer and is available to all schools. Please see Pathway for further information.

From Autumn 2024, the Inclusion Team will offer three different intervention programmes:

  • an individual referral, (1:1 support)
  • a Secondary girls programme  KS3/KS4
  • a Sport Intervention programme. Upper KS2/KS3

All interventions for individual pupils will be bespoke to the pupil, and the programme of specific interventions will be discussed and agreed with the school, parents and the pupil.

Please find details of the individual intervention and group offer, pathways and referral forms available to download.

Also available to download are Consent forms and a Risk Assessment.

The Inclusion Team will also be holding Inclusion Pathway Restorative Conversations for schools to book onto for advice and guidance. Please see download for further details.
