Continental Market

The Continental Christmas market is the centrepiece of the festival and takes place from 12 to 21 December in the newly refurbished Dudley Street in the heart of the city centre.
The market will feature traders from France, Germany, Italy, Holland and Belgium and visitors will find a sumptuous variety of hot and cold food and drink, toys, sweets and a wide variety of gifts for the whole family.
Goods may include Dutch cheeses, cakes and waffles, pastries, leather goods, cashmere and knitwear, French perfumes, Italian silks and much more.
There will also be a stall sellng German gluhwein (mulled wine) and a schwenkgrill - a hexagonal unit selling beer and sausages.
