Tourism

Wolverhampton, one of Britain's newest cities, is located right in the heart of the West Midlands.  The city is steeped in history, with beautiful buildings and churches to explore.

Whether you are a resident or a visitor, there are attractions and entertainment to suit all interests, with major events throughout the year. To find out what is on in the city download your free copy of What's on Where Wolverhampton.

Our award winning parks and gardens offer peace and tranquility. Our museums and galleries provide a unique cultural experience, while our city centre theatres offer varied programmes reflecting our diverse communities, with the Grand Theatre and Civic Hall attracting major stars and national award winning shows.

The city offers a variety of shopping, concerts and nightlife and if you are staying in the area there is a variety of accommodation available.

What's new

Wolverhampton will be entering into the 2009 Heart of England in Bloom Awards. To maintian our 'gold' certificate, we are looking for even more involvement from schools, businesses and communities in the 2009 Wolverhampton Floral City campaign.
