Total Leisure Card (TLC) - Frequently asked questions

What is the Total Leisure Card?

A discount card that will save you money on entrance to certain sports and leisure activities provided by the City Council.

Who is it for?

Everyone aged 16 years and over.

How much will a Total Leisure Card cost?

There are 5 categories of cards ranging from £2.00 to £33.00.

To find out which card is for you, either pick up an application form from a sports centre, library or contact Customer Services (Total Leisure Card team) on:

Why should I purchase a Total Leisure Card?

It will save you money, especially for swimming and fitness training during peak hours (Mon-Fri before 9.00am and Mon-Fri after 4.30pm). 

Special off peak rates were introduced on 1st October 2005 for swimming and fitness training (Mon-Fri 9.00am-4.30pm).  Further details can be found by clicking the centre of your choice (below) and referring to their price list.

Where can I use my Total Leisure Card?

You can use the Total Leisure Card at:

  • Aldersley Leisure Village
  • Bilston Leisure Centre
  • Central Baths
  • Graiseley Recreation Centre

    The card can also be used at:

    • Any Wolverhampton library
    • Private sites and services

    Total Leisure Card - How to apply

  • All applicants must be 16 years of age or over. For those applicants under 16 years of age, junior rates will apply.

    To renew your card, proof of eligibility must be shown.

    To apply:

    • Visit any Wolverhampton Sport and Recreation Centre
    • Complete an application form.
    • Provide proof of eligibility (please see back of application form)
    • Submit payment (cash/cheque). Please make cheques payable to Wolverhampton City Council (chip and pin payment service available at Aldersley Leisure Village, Bilston Leisure Centre and Central Baths only) 
    • Provide a passport sized photo.

    Once your application has been received by Customer Services (Total Leisure Card unit) it will be posted out within 5 working days.

    Please note

    Total Leisure Cards will no longer be issued on a 'while you wait' basis at Central Baths.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to take applications by email or post due to proof of eligibility and payment being required at time of purchase, but you can download and complete the application form by clicking on the icon below:

    The price of a Total Leisure Card, as from 1st November 2007, will be:

    • Category 1 - £2.00
    • Category 2 - £6.25
    • Category 3 - £26.25
    • Category 4 - £33.00
    • Category 5 - £19.00.
