Inclusive activity

To improve access to sport and availability of physical activities to underrepresented groups, we work with partners to offer opportunities to participate to women, girls, those with disabilities and ethnic minorities. 

Our aim is to put in place and support a variety of activities and initiatives that positively impact across all groups within local communities, with a view to increasing their levels of participation.

We are working with a number of partners to create opportunities including:

• English Federation of Disability Sport
• Beacon Centre for the Blind
• Birmingham County Football Association 
• Let us Play.

We also promote accessible facilities for sport and health activities in the city and neighbouring areas which provide easy access for people with disabilities.
