Health and fitness programme

Graiseley Community Healthy Living Centre

Fitness Suite

The Fitness Suite is a safe, spacious, well equipped facility catering for all ages and is especially suitable for beginners and newcomers to exercise. The Fitness Suite also provides Toning Tables, ideal for newcomers and the less able.

To ensure customers get maximum benefit for their efforts and exercise safely, all users are required to undertake an induction session before using the equipment.  This takes approximately 45 minutes.

Don't worry if you have never used fitness equipment before or are new to the exercise environment, our friendly qualified staff will put you at ease and will explain everything you need to know and answer any questions you may have.

To book your induction session please call into the centre who will be happy to arrange a time and answer any queries you may have.

Please note- all gym users will need to complete a short medical form.

Gymkids

We provide exercise opportunities for all including the developing Gymkids Initiative for children.

This initiative has been developed with Graiseley Primary school. During term time, every Tuesdays pupils enjoy the  benefits of this type of activity, using equipment funded by All Saints & Blakenhall Community Development (ABCD).

The programme is operational with the school and incorporates both exercise/fitness and educational development for the children.

Gymkids equipment, which includes miniature treadmills, airwalkers, rowing machines and cycling machines has been designed to make fitness more fun for children.
