The centre's Kinesis Suite and Genesis Fitness Studio facilities are now open, following the installation of new equipment.
The Kinesis Suite and Genesis Fitness Studio
Two seperate gyms have been created, Kinesis which is open to all and Genesis will be used for rehabilitation programmes run by the NHS for local patients.
Centre
Graiseley Community Healthy Living Centre, formerly Graiseley Recreation Centre, is a popular community facility providing affordable and enjoyable exercise for all ages. The centre is situated in the Blakenhall area of the City.
The centre aims to promote healthy lifestyles in the community by:
- Providing opportunities to enjoy healthy, fun and affordable activities
- Working in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of the community
- Providing information, advice, encouragement and support enabling everyone to make healthier choices
The current service at the centre can be grouped into 4 specific programmes.
