All opening times are subject to pre-arranged courses and events. Please check here before arrival.

Public swimming session 

All swim sessions: last ticket sold 30 mins prior to closing times

  • Monday - 11.00am to 7.00pm (6.30pm - 7.00pm - half of pool available - lengths only - shared with resident Swimming Club)
  • Tuesday - 7.30am to 7.00pm
  • Wednesday - 7.30am to 7.30pm (7.00pm - 7.30pm - 6 Lanes available - lengths only - 2 lanes used by resident Swimming Club)
  • Thursday - 7.30am to 7.00pm
  • Friday - 7.30am to 8.00pm (7.00pm - 8.00pm - half of pool available - lengths only -shared with resident Swimming Club)
  • Saturday* - 8.00am to 4.00pm (8.00am - 10.00am - 6 lanes available - lengths only - 2 lanes used by resident Swimming Club) 
  • Sunday* - 8.00am to 4.00pm

For first visit please arrive 7.15pm to see Midwife.  Must be 15wks+ pregnant.

Visually impaired 'swim' session

Freestyle Health & Fitness suite (1 hour)

Freestyle Health & Fitness suite inductions (subject to availability)

All new users are required to complete an induction/medical form prior to using the Freestyle Health & Fitness Suite.  A qualified Instructor will show you how to use the equipment in a safe and effective manner.  You can choose to take part in a group session (usually up to 6 customers), or book a One to One session. Specific arrangements can be made for large group inductions.

PLEASE NOTE: Inductions must be pre-booked in person at the facility.

A regular programme of lessons take place during term times.

Central Baths Closures

Central Baths is designated as a regional and national competition facility.

The Centre will be closed all day on the following dates due to gala bookings (unless otherwise stated):

  • Saturday 25th October 2008 - Chase Open meet
  • Sunday 26th October 2008  - Chase Open meet
  • Saturday 15th November 2008 - Modern Pentathlon
  • Sunday 16th November 2008 - Shropshire ASA (open until 11.00 am)
  • Sunday 7th December - Wolverhampton Masters Junior 

Please note that events and galas are subject to change.  Please contact the facility for further details.
