Sport Development service standards

We are committed to continuous improvement and therefore continue to be externally assessed through the Quest process.

In addition to this, we work towards a number of targets set in our team plan, and service plan which are reviewed and monitored closely

Our achievements for 2009 can be viewed by clicking here.

Team plan 2009/10

For Sport Development, we plan to:

  • Deliver a range of initiatives which are able to impact upon the Active People survey results by December 2009
  • Jointly implement the Sport Unlimited programme by March 2010
  • Deliver a programme of safeguarding training to staff and volunteers in community centres
  • Develop an action plan as part of Quest maintenance visit by December 2009
  • Implement the national free swimming initiative across the city.
