Sports specific development groups

Sport Development has a proven track record for establishing and supporting sport specific development groups

The aim of these groups is to play a role is co-ordinating  and strategically developing provision of sport across Wolverhampton.

The team currently work with four sport specific development groups for:

  • Hockey
  • Tennis
  • Rugby
  • Cricket.

The groups consist of club volunteers, governing bodies, local authority officers and Sports Advisory Council representatives.

The Sport Development Team promotes opportunities in the above listed focus sports plus many others. 'Where to Play' leaflets in some sports can be downloaded in PDF format below:
