Club development
We are keen to promote sports clubs in Wolverhampton that are quality assured, holding the Clubmark standard or the new Wolverhampton club registration.
Services
As part of the Clubmark and club registration process, clubs should have a safeguarding or child protection policy in place.
Rate relief for clubs
If you club owns its own premises and/or employees a large number of coaches it may be worth investigating becoming a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). Clubs can receive 80% mandatort business rate relief and the ability to claim Gift Aid.
Currently clubs that do this can set up a Just Giving fundraising webpage for their club and get gift aid of up to 28% on top of any donations made.
