Wolverhampton has many parks and green spaces.

West Park, in the centre of Wolverhampton, is the City's main park, recognised nationally as one of England's finest Victorian Parks with the following features:

  • a boating lake and a collection of waterfowl
  • a large Victorian conservatory containing plants from all over the world
  • a mature collection of trees and shrubs
  • beautiful floral displays
  • a Victorian bandstand (donated by Charles Pelham Villiers MP)

West Park also provides a venue for a wide range of outdoor events. These include the annual City Show, Bonfire Night and musical events centred around the bandstand.
