What is a park ranger?
A park ranger in Wolverhampton does various things:
- carries out high profile patrols
- attends regular community meetings
- visits schools
- helps young people get involved in the parks
- identifies improvements in the park environment
- supervises volunteers
- carries out risk assessments
- promotes guided walks and talks
- discourages anti-social behaviour
Our crew of rangers (both permanent and seasonal) are made up of a team of dedicated men and women that help our visitors to enjoy our parks in a safe, secure, clean and happy environment.
