Flower & Vegetable Show
In September 2009, Northycote Farm and Country Park held their annual Flower and Vegetable Show; which attracted record visitors and exhibitors. News will appear here soon about the 2010 Flower and Vegetable Show with details of how to enter, dates etc.
Wolverhampton's Great Outdoors
Wolverhampton has a rich diversity and heritage of green space throughout the city. We are the guardian of:
"Green space" refers to all landscape features, even small ones, including:
- landscaping to car parks
- tow paths
- disused cemeteries.
Not all of these are managed by us, but all have a part to play in improving the quality of life in the city.
Parks and green spaces are perhaps the most 'public' of local services. They make significant contributions to the city's image and identity - and to its residents' health and well-being.
Green areas are a haven for wildlife and a welcome relief from dense, urban development. We take every opportunity to support and sustain the future development of this precious resource and enhance our standards through:
