Opening Times

Open all year (except Bank Holidays)

Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm

Whilst building work is going on, we would always advise that if you are planning on making a special visit that you call ahead to check opening times and access arrangements, please call us on 01902 552055.

 
 
The Georgian Gallery

Access

Our policy is Access for All and we are usually fully accessible for disabled visitors, including entrance ramps for physical access and improved access to information for blind and visually impaired people.  However whilst building works are in progress we may not be able to provide our usual level of service for our disabled visitors.  We apologise for this and advise that you contact the gallery on 01902 552055 before a visit to check on any restrictions.

Travel

Wolverhampton Art Gallery is located in the centre of Wolverhampton just 5 minutes walk from the train and metro stations.

Bus

Bus numbers 543 and 513 from Wolverhampton city centre stop close to the entrance and run approximately every 10 minutes, throughout the day.

Train and Metro

The Wolverhampton train station is approximately 5 minutes walk from the Gallery and has good links to and from a wide variety of local and national destinations.
The metro station is also only 5 minutes walk away and has a frequent service to and from Birmingham Snow Hill.

Car

If you are travelling by car follow the signs to Wolverhampton from the M5, M6 and M54.  Once you reach Wolverhampton, follow the brown Art Gallery and Museum signs from the city ring road.

 
 

Shop

The Gallery shop offers visitors the chance to buy unique pieces of craft work. A variety of gifts and treats such as jewellery, accessories and home wares are sold in the shop, accompanied by a display of information about each individual maker featured.

Refreshments

The Café is open at the same time as the gallery and offers a selection of hot drinks and homemade cakes.
