The Makers Dozen

8 Wulfruna Street
Wolverhampton
WV1 1LW

The Makers Dozen consists of twelve artist studios situated within the Art Gallery complex, purpose designed for artists and makers.  It gives artist and makers direct access to customers, to teaching and learning resources in the School of Art and Design at Wolverhampton University, and to the creative storehouse of the Gallery.

The Makers Dozen provides both workspaces for:

  • new graduates to start up enterprises to make their first commissions and pieces for trade fairs and the gift market
  • more established makers who already run small businesses but need efficient and unproblematic space to produce medium volume orders and exhibition pieces
