Become a Volunteer at Bantock House

If you are a good team member and enthusiastic about local history and crafts then you might like to join our team as a volunteer and help us to achieve our full potential.

What will you do? 

Our volunteers undertake a number of activities to help welcome visitors and maintain the appearance of the house and grounds.

• Front desk - welcoming visitors
• Assist with enquiries throughout the house
• Conduct small guided tours of the house
• Undertake research on local history
• Monitor rooms to prevent breakages or theft
• Maintain the appearance of the house and grounds

What do you get out of it?

Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to meet new people, gain new skills, get involved with promoting local heritage, gain valuable work experience with the Arts and Museums Service and contribute to your local community.
