Museums and galleries
Wolverhampton Arts and Museum Service is responsible for three sites in the city: Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Bantock House and Bilston Craft Gallery.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery
Wolverhampton Art Gallery was built in 1884 and is situated in the heart of the town centre. The gallery has an amazing collection of contemporary Pop Art, sumptuous displays of Victorian and Georgian paintings and three national awards for the way it presents art to its visitors.
Bantock House Museum
Bantock House is set in 48 acres of historic parkland and tells the story of the town and its people. Restored to its Edwardian heyday, the house also displays renowned collections of japanned ware and enamels.
Bilston Craft Gallery
Bilston Craft Gallery is the largest dedicated craft venue in the region with a lively programme of exhibitions featuring the best in contemporary ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, metalwork and woodwork. The Gallery offers an exciting programme of exhibitions, workshops (for children and adults) and events.
Something for everyone
At all of our sites, there are permanent displays of art, craft and local history. Each venue also hosts an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions, events, talks, workshops and activities suitable for all ages.
