Indo-Anglian readers' group
Indo-Anglian literature is work by writers in the Indian sub-contentinent or of the diaspora (Jhumpa Lahiri, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 2000, lives in New York, for example) who write in English.
As a category it comes under the broader realm of post-colonial literature. It includes writers as diverse as R K Narayan, Salman Rushdie and Meera Syal.
Join us at our Indo-Anglian readers' group to enjoy books by these and other writers.
