Activities for Children and Young People

You can download a list of regular storytime sessions and Baby+ Clubs for babies, young people and their parents and carers below.

Regular Activities for Children

You can also find out more about the sessions here:

Storytimes

Stortytime sessions for the under 5's are held most days in Wolverhampton Libraries.

Many are topical or themed and encourage participation. Storytimes for older children take place at 2 of our libraries on Saturdays.

Baby+ Club

Especially for babies, small children and their parents or carers. Get together to listen to stories, sing nursery rhymes and chat. There are Baby+ Clubs taking place on most days in Wolverhampton Libraries.

Read how we're making our Baby+ Clubs healthier for our children.

The libraries hosting storytime sessions and Baby+ Clubs have special collections of books for parents and carers with tips on childcare, health matters and situation picture books. There are also special services for childminders, playgroups and non LEA registered nurseries. Special storytimes or visits can be arranged for groups.

Holiday Activities

Activity sessions and storytimes are held during most school holidays. Visit our events page for more information or contact your local library.

Internet Access

Children and young people can use our PCs providing access to the Internet, word-processing and a range of multi-media and educational CD-roms.

You will usually need to book in advance. The computers are free to use although there is a small charge for printing.
