How to reserve library books
If there's a book you're interested in and it's out on loan we will reserve it for you free of charge. You can reserve an item online or in person.
Reserve an item online
Reserve any item out on loan online using the online library catalogue. You will need to log in to the library catalogue first.
Please note, if the item you require is not on loan, please contact the library where the item is held and ask them to either keep it for you or arrange for it to be sent to your nearest branch library within Wolverhampton.
Reserve an item at your local library
You can also reserve items out on loan in person - just call in at your local library.
How much does it cost to reserve an item?
There's no charge - it's free to reserve any item from our libraries.
Can I reserve an item from another library?
If we do not stock the particular item you require, we will try to buy it or borrow it through the Inter-Library Loan scheme. We can request out of print items, photocopies from periodicals and serials. In this case, the more details you provide, the easier and quicker we will be able to supply it.
It costs £1 to reserve an item from another library (or 50p with a valid Wolverhampton Total Leisure Card).
