Relocation to Molineux Hotel

Since 2005, work has been ongoing to transform the city's historic Molineux Hotel into the new home of the Wolverhampton Archives and Local Studies service. This work is now complete and the service reopened to the public on March 10th 2009.

The new building provides the Archives service with improved public facilities, as well as a state-of-the-art storage facility for its collection of documents, photographs and other materials relating to the history of the city.

Restoration work has been painstakingly undertaken to ensure that the Georgian origins of the Grade II listed building have been maintained.
