New 1841 Census Microfilms (20 May 2005)

We have recently replaced our worn out microfilms of the 1841 Census with new copies supplied by The National Archives.

We took the opportunity to expand our holdings and now have the returns for the whole of Wolverhampton, Tettenhall, Bilston, Penn and Wednesfield, as well as Kingswinford, Tipton, Willenhall, Sedgley, Darlaston and many rural parishes in adjacent parts of Staffordshire and Shropshire.
